We can define an e-portfolio as a set or collection of knowledge, skills and competences acquired and developed across varied contexts (formal learning, personal and social, job experience) over time.

It is a document composed of a variety of documents (written, images, videos, blog, site, wikis) usually in digital format and it is used to demonstrate your professional and personal experience.
